Vintage racing returns to Brands Hatch at the end of May as classic cars roll back the years for a series of races.Masters F1

It will recall the golden days of when the British Grand Prix and BOAC sportscar races used to be held at the Kent circuit.

There really were special years of racing from the 1960’s to the 1980’s when iconic cars took to the track from Lotus, Tyrell, McLaren to the historic Brabham’s.

They will all return for more spectacular wheel to wheel racing during the Bank Holiday for the FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship that kicked off in Barcelona earlier in April.Masters World Sportscars

Also being brought back as part of this festival is the FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship, which are Le Mans style racing cars that feature among the prominent manufacturers Porsche, Ferrari, Lola, Chevron and Ford.

As well as action on the track there will be plenty of action off it with classic car displays for people to look round. There will also be a fun fair and face painting which will ensure that all the family are entertained during the weekend.

Tickets for the Masters Festival at Brands Hatch on 24-26 May are available from £18 with free entry for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0843 453 9000 or visit www.brandshatch.co.uk
