Heavyweight titans took to the Brands Hatch Indy circuit for another thrilling day of truck racing, with three wheel-clashing races wowing the crowds.

Jamie Anderson enjoyed his second Division 1 win of the weekend this afternoon after a stellar performance behind the wheel of his MAN TGX machine.

A busy opening lap saw Mark Taylor take a trip into the gravel trap at Paddock Hill, meanwhile Terry Gibbon’s storming start promoted him from seventh to fourth in just the opening half of the lap. Ryan Smith continued his terrific form and by the end of the second lap had begun to lead the race before being a mechanical issue scrapped the champion’s chance of a win. Jamie Anderson secured race victory followed by Stuart Oliver and David Jenkins. John Newell finished the race in fourth with Ryan Smith eventually coming home in fifth.

John Bowler landed himself his first win of the weekend after a glittering performance in the day’s final Division 2 race. Steven Powell was unable to perform a clean sweep, finishing in second, with reigning champion Luke Garrett taking the final step of the podium.

Behind the trio, previous race winner Paul Rivett fought his way into fourth after a race-long defending masterclass, forcing Ryan Smith to settle for fifth.

Jamie Anderson continued his race-winning performance in the day’s final Division 1 race in the fading light with a storming drive from start to finish.

With the pack heading three-wide into Paddock Hill Bend, it was David Jenkins who took a trip through the gravel trap and dropped to last, with Richard Collett leading the race from Terry Gibbon and Ryan Smith. Jamie Anderson made his race-leading move on Collett with a daring manouevre at Paddock Hill Bend on lap five and remained unchallenged for the rest of the race.

Richard Collett crossed the line in second followed by Ryan Smith in third, with Terry Gibbon and Simon Reid completing the top five.
