After starting their season last weekend with a 2-1 win at Chesterfield, Andy Hessenthaler was a disappointed boss when he saw his charges beaten 2-1 at Crabble by Dagenham and Redbridge on Tuesday night.
When Andy Hessenthaler returned to the Dover dugout in October 2018 he found a club mired in a relegation battle with one win in their first 15 games. By the end of the season Dover had finished 14th pulling comfortably clear of the drop zone.
