There was plenty of local talent with Dylon Phibbs and Simon Rudd racing in the inaugural Formula Ford race at the track. Bromley’s Gary Paffett was on track in the DTM race alongside British drivers Jamie Green and Andy Priaulx.

Speaking about being at the race weekend Jensen said: “The last time I was here was last year for this race, I’ve got great memories of this place from back in Formula Ford days and Formula Three days, and it’s quite fun I get to drive the taxi car round a bit later on and experience that feeling again, especially at the first corner.”Damon Hill F4 Podium

Racing legend and 1996 F1 World Champion Damon Hill was also in attendance and made an appearance on the podium, where Paffett and Priaulx presented top three with their trophies of the Formula Four series.

As well as having these legends in attendance Paul Di Resta the 2010 DTM Champion was also attending the event, and did Taxi rides in a DTM which will have brought back memories for the Force India driver.
