Hundreds of runners have signed up for a new charity 10km race as part of the Medway Festival of Sport.Medway Park

The Medway 10km in aid of Cerebral Palsy Care Kent takes place on Sunday, 23 June in Gillingham.

And it’s not too late to get your entry in.

The run will start on the track at Medway Park before crossing the road to lap several times around the Great Lines Heritage Park.

Aimed at experienced athletes and new runners alike, the race begins at 10am, and medals, winners’ prizes and finish line goodies will be up for grabs. A mini children’s fun run will also be held at Medway Park ahead of the main event.

The event is being organised by Nice Work on behalf of Medway Council and the charity. The entry fee in advance is £13 for UKA affiliated runners and £15 non-affiliated runners. Entry on the day is £20.
