It was Tom Ingram who took his second Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship title at the season finale at Brands Hatch this afternoon.

As the sun went down at Brands Hatch it was Ingram who was presented the title by outgoing champion Jake Hill.
For Hill it was a podium in his final race in the BTCC before he heads off to race internationally in 2026. It wasn’t the win he wanted in front of his home fans but he was happy to sign off with a podium.
In the final race of the weekend, it was Toyota Racing UK with IAA’s Josh Cook took his first victory of the season in the very final race of the campaign, as Team VERTU’s Tom Ingram became the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Champion.

Cook drove like a man on a mission as he dived past the BMW duo of pole-sitter Aiden Moffat and Jake Hill, the latter racing in the BTCC for the time with the #1 Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport.
Hill struggled a little in the early stages as he and stablemate Moffat (LKQ Euro Car Parts Racing with WSR) were both passed by NAPA Racing UK’s Ash Sutton, but the outgoing champion was back on the pace soon after.
When the chequered flag waved, Cook became the 13th different race winner of the year with the podium being completed by Sutton and Hill.
Ingram blasted his Hyundai across the line in sixth, confirming his place as a two-time BTCC champion.
Dexter Patterson in the Unlimited Motorsport Cupra Leon took the final Independent race victory of the season. Rounding off the season in style for the Kent team.

EXCELR8 Motorsport/Hyundai claimed the Manufacturers’/Constructors’ championship following contact between the NAPA Racing UK pair of Dan Rowbottom and Dan Cammish, which resulted in the #32 being disqualified from the round. Despite this, the latter squad sealed the Teams’ title.
Restart Racing won the Independent Teams’ and Dan Lloyds claimed the Independent Drivers’, whilst WSR’s Daryl DeLeon secured the Jack Sears Trophy.
