Hadler delivers unique PT session

As part of our #12DaysOfFitness campaign back in December, the team at RH Training got our heads together to come up with ways to encourage people of all ages and abilities to incorporate exercise into their daily routine, during the busy festive period.

Now it’s the New Year, we know there are lots of people looking at their well-being, their lifestyle and their resolutions.

We’ve hit the ground running in 2018, delivering lots of sessions, courses and starting new partnerships to enrich our clients.

Teaming up with Kent Sports News at the end of last year, we were delighted to see people trying out our challenges and learning a little bit more about what we deliver to clients across the county.

To help encourage people to take part, we added a few prizes to the mix and were pleased to deliver a free 1-2-1 session with Steve Wolfe, Chief Executive of the charity Kent Sports Trust in January.

With a very similar vision and mission to our own, the charity focuses on promoting participation in sport throughout Kent. When we introduced Steve to one of our Personal Trainers and full-time professional footballer, Tom Hadler, the tone was set for an extra productive work-out.

With our team of Personal Trainers on hand to help individuals and groups reach their goals, we deliver sessions wherever our clients want us to – whether in the gym, outdoors or even at the office with our brand-new Business Fitness service.

For this session, we received a warm welcome at SISU and 8th Element in Medway, providing the perfect drop back to get to work.

Following the hour one-to-one session, Steve clearly enjoyed the experience with Tom and found instant benefits to support his own personal – and extremely impressive – health challenge.

“I can’t thank Tom enough for his time in delivering a high-quality session at the superb facilities at SISU on the Medway City Estate.”

“Spending time with a professional footballer, it’s given me an insight into what it takes to play for a club like Gillingham.”

“As someone who is attempting to run every day for 1096 consecutive days, it was helpful to learn more about how I can get more from my body, whilst learning new training techniques.”

“Tom put me at ease, was thorough and understanding of my limitations, whilst helping me learn some exercises that will strengthen my core and muscles I probably haven’t used for a lot of years!”

Tom was equally pleased with how the session went, saying afterwards:

“It was great to spend time learning about Steve’s challenge and his running journey so far. Strength and conditioning is a fundamental part of any athlete’s development. Straight away we were able to discuss ways for this type of training to support Steve.”

“Passing on expertise and tips, I was able to use the hour to introduce Steve to new exercises and stretches I hope will hold him in good stead as he takes further strides on this incredible challenge.”

All RH Training 1-2-1 sessions include a comprehensive initial consultation to fully understand our clients’ needs, supported by ongoing nutrition analysis.
