History was made at Brands Hatch as the curtain dropped on the Bennett’s British Superbike Championship for 2021.

25 years after his father Niall Mackenzie won the British Championship son Tarran won his first BSB title on Sunday at Brands Hatch.

He did it in emphatic style as well with three wins over the weekend. Taking the title in race one on Sunday afternoon with a move on Tommy Bridewell at the final corner to take the win on his McAms Yamaha.

He then followed that up with victory in race three to win the title by 36 points in front of the biggest crowd at Brands Hatch for the BSB.

Elsewhere there were a number of other titles up for grabs that went down to the final day of the season. Not least the National Junior Superstock championship where Folkestone’s Jack Nixon took the title by seven points with a second place finish at his home circuit.

Jack Kennedy won the British Supersport title taking victory on Saturday afternoon, to seal the title and then ok Sunday afternoon finished second in a dramatic race that saw a red flag and a five lap dash.
