Broadstairs racer Michael Crees is back on track at his home round of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship this weekend, looking to continue building the momentum from round one.

Brands Hatch plays host to the second round of the season, and for Crees it is a return to his home circuit but also a chance to build on what was essentially a test weekend in the Hyundai at Donington Park last time out.
Creesy a fans favourite actually has a good record on the Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch scoring points finishes in his three appearances on the shorter circuit layout. So he will be sure to want to continue that record and pick-up his first points of the season. He narrowly missed out at the first round of the season with a best finish of 17th place.
Speaking ahead of the weekend, Crees said: “I’m really excited about the opportunity to race at my home track again this weekend and after a solid outing at Donington Park, I want to try and fight for some points.
“To qualify P17 out of 24 cars at the opening meeting was good considering I hadn’t driven the car before first practice and it’s given me something to build on this weekend at a circuit where I’ve had some good results in the past.
“I’ve always loved racing in front of the fans but there is something extra special when it’s your home circuit and you have extra support there from your family, friends and sponsors. Hopefully I can put on a good show for them all this weekend and get into that top 15.”
