British Superbikes arrives at Brands Hatch this weekend

This weekend will see the return of the British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch for the first of its two annual visits to the circuit.

Unlike 2025 when Kent’s very own Bradley Ray went into the round leading the championship this season it is Kyle Ryde who has a healthy points advantage over Ray and is 17 points clear of Scott Redding.

Not only does it mark Brands Hatch Centenary season, but it is also the 30th anniversary of the British Superbike Championship and also the 30th anniversary of Yamaha’s participation in the series. As a result Ray will be running a special livery across the weekends races.

Three BSB races are scheduled across the weekend with one on Saturday and two on Sunday  with a full haul of crucial points available for each. Plus, there is a chance for one of the two-wheeled heroes to write their names into the history books by claiming the coveted ITS King of Brands 100 title.

Fan favourite Superbike heroes James Toseland and Troy Bayliss will also attend to join the celebrations, where they’ll be meeting fans. And the spectators themselves will add massively to the atmosphere, with thousands camping out across the full event and enjoying the live music, manufacturer stands and other experiences to create a festival mood.

As well as that there will be the usual support races, which will feature a number of Kent based riders and teams who fans will be cheering for during their races.
