Festival Italia returns to Brands Hatch for a massive celebration of all things Italian, including cars, cuisine, and culture this Sunday (13 August), and there is plenty to look forward to at this year’s edition.

The event will celebrate the diverse history of Italian motoring on and off the circuit, with racing, demonstrations, and displays featuring a wealth of machines from the Mediterranean nation; Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Alfa Romeos, and Maseratis included. This, allied with a sumptuous spread of themed attractions off the circuit will make Festival Italia once of the must-see highlights of the Kent circuit’s summer calendar.

Motor racing will be headlined by the Ferrari Owners’ Club’s classic championship in what is a very special year for the most famous manufacturer in the sport. The club celebrates its golden anniversary this year, and this heritage will be celebrated off the track too with a special display.

The racing will be interspersed with a series of demonstrations and parades, showcasing a diverse selection of beautiful road cars, alongside racing machines including Grand Prix cars.

Away from the track itself, the circuit’s surrounds will be filled with Italian cars in massive car displays which are expected to be much bigger and better than last year. This will include examples of cars from the nation’s finest car makers, and two-wheeled manufacturers too, with a healthy contingent of Ducati, Vespa, and Lambretta motorcycles and scooters expected too.

Manufacturer involvement has ramped up this year too, with Abarth joining the event as an official partner. This will manifest with a special car display with opportunities to test drive the marque’s latest models in the paddock and on the Grand Prix circuit for free.

On top of all that, there will be a mouth-watering selection of comestibles available in the Piazza in Italia food market, wine tasting opportunities with ZONIN1821, and a Pirelli F1 simulator – there will simply be loads to do.
