Young Kent golfers enjoyed a near-clean sweep of the main prizes at the East Berkshire GC Junior Stag competition on Thursday (August 1st).

Ollie Lewis-Perkins from Mid-Kent GC walked off with the Under-18 top individual prize in this prestigious junior amateur competition after recording rounds of 69 and 68 for a three-under-par total of 137.

Close on his heels in joint second place with a total of 138  was Callum Tibbs from The London GC, while two shots further back in third place came Jacob Kelso from Kings Hill GC.

Not surprisingly, the efforts of Messrs Lewis-Perkins, Tibbs and Kelso ensured that Kent were clear winners of the Under-18 county team prize, and Kent also won the Under-16  team trophy thanks to the trio of Jack Shipton (Royal St George’s GC), Lewis Beeden (Dartford GC) and Bailey Korkis (Etchinghill GC).
