Kent will be looking to gain revenge over Surrey when the teams meet in the final of the Boys’ Under-14 South East Inter-Counties League at Rochester & Cobham GC on Sunday, October 6.

The same two teams also contested last year’s final, when Surrey came out on top at Tandridge GC, but Kim Brusadelli, the Kent U13/U14s boys’ team manager, is “100% confident” that her squad can reverse that result this time around.

Kent, who qualified for the final by beating Essex and Hertfordshire at Kings Hill GC, will be hoping that “local knowledge” can play an important role in the final, with six of their squad being members of Rochester & Cobham, headed by team captain Jake Antoun.

The full Kent squad is: Jake Antoun (Kings Hill and Rochester & Cobham),Luke Jenkins  (Rochester & Cobham  and West Kent), Jack Lee  (Dartford and Rochester &Cobham), Lucas Dennison (Rochester & Cobham), Jake Potter (Chelsfield Lakes), Jack Swift  (North Foreland and Royal Cinque Ports), Riley Dowle (Rochester &Cobham and Sittingbourne & Milton Regis), Joseph Sussmess (Knole Park), Abe Bignell (Kings Hill and Rochester &Cobham), Tom Patterson (Boughton), Max Moseley (Knole Park), Ethan Hall  (Hever Castle and Knole Park), and Bleu Landau (Upchurch River Valley).
