The Southern Counties East Football League is looking for a new member for next season after the announcement that Woodstock Sports have withdrawn from the League after Saturday’s final game of the current season.
Woodstock Sports

In a statement on the club’s website, the club has stated what will happen:
“It is with great regret and sadness to announce that Woodstock Sports Football Club will fold at the end of the 2014-15 season.

Quite simply, we do not have a sustainable business plan and the funding is simply not there for another season.

This breaks our hearts as we have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to build the foundations of the club over the past few years and our progression is a testament to the monumental time and effort the committee, especially Colin Page, has put into the club on a daily basis.

This Saturday we host Sevenoaks Town @ Woodstock Park. We hope to see many old and new faces as this Saturday we also face, the ‘Final Curtain’.”
After Woodstock’s withdrawal, it will be interesting to see if the FA replace them following Saturday’s confirmation that Kent Invicta League Champions Hollands and Blair will be promoted to the SCEFL.
