Bromley manager Andy Woodman has spoken of his pride at how his side comfortably beat Gillingham to stay top of League Two.

A Ben Thompson hat-trick was the highlight of a great display from The Ravens at MEMS Priestfield as Woodman’s side were comfortable 4-1 victors.
Three nil up inside half an hour, Bromley showed why they are top of the league and having seen his side cement their place at the top and now 21 points clear of The Gills, Woodman spoke of how pleased with how well Bromley were playing at present.
“Fantastic performance all-round. Not just the result, but the way we started the game, the way we did our homework and knew how to exploit them and the quality of the finishing.” said Woodman.
“Everyone tells me we’re a team that only scores set-plays, one-dimensional, I thought we were brilliant. Ben Thompson was phenomenal – the third one for his hat-trick was some goal.”
“The guys put their bodies on the line. Grant Smith made some big saves when needed. I thought it was a Bromley masterclass in that sense. We did a real good job on Gilingham.”
“We’ve got to keep ploughing through. I want to remind everybody we haven’t achieved anything yet. We’ve got another result, and we’re another result closer to where we want to get to.”
“I’m going to keep demanding from these boys. You’d have thought we lost in the dressing room afterwards. There’s no music on or wild celebrations.”
“We’re a humble group, and when we get to where we want to, then we can start having the party, but we are a long way from that.”
