Peter Wilson recorded his second top-10 finish of the year on the European Seniors Golf Tour at the weekend.

The 52-year-old Deal professional finished joint seventh in the MCB Tour Championship at the International GC Du Rova in Madagascar after shooting three level par rounds of 71 for a total of 213,which left Wilson three shots behind the winner, England’s Barry Lane.

Wilson, who won 8,217 Euros for his efforts, has now risen to 37^th place on the Seniors Tour Order of Merit ahead of the final two events of the year in the Seychelles and Mauritius.
