Gillingham added to their squad this afternoon with the capture of their second signing of the day.

Striker Lewis Walker joined the Gills on the eve of the new season, and subject to international clearance he will be available for tomorrow’s fixture away at AFC Wimbledon.

Walker was on trial during pre-season and played in fixtures against Folkestone Invicta and Dover Athletic.

The 24-year has been plying in Italy having won promotion to Serie B with Como in his first season.

Lewis who is the son of Des Walker was playing for Athletic Carpi until the end of last season.
