Will Ovenden enjoyed a superb weekend at the Eurocircuit in Valkenswaard, taking victory in the Motorsport UK Cross Car Championship at the end of August.

Competing as part of the 5 Nations British Rallycross Championship meeting in the Netherlands, Ovenden faced a strong field on one of Europe’s best-known rallycross circuits.
Driving his Mygale XC04, Ovenden remained firmly in contention throughout qualifying despite not topping any of the individual sessions. Sven Hofkens, Teddie MacPherson and James Black all took qualifying victories, but Ovenden’s consistency ensured he was well placed heading into the decisive final.
When the pressure was at its highest, Ovenden produced the drive that mattered most.
A strong performance in the final saw him take the chequered flag ahead of teammate James Black, with Bradley Turner completing the podium in third.
The victory was another important result in Ovenden’s 2026 campaign and followed his earlier success at Blyton Park, further underlining his pace and growing confidence in the Cross Car category.
It also capped a memorable weekend for Ovenden Motorsport, with Will celebrating victory in the Netherlands while his father Tristan was competing on the huge international stage at Lohéac in France.
