Oakwood, Old Road, Crayford hosts the Martin Ford and Paul Foley memorial game on Saturday 22nd May kick off 13:00.

Both the VCD Athletic and Maidstone United vets sides are littered with players well known to supporters of local clubs.

Ford managed VCD for fourteen years but lost his life to cancer a year ago. His son, Joe, joint-managed Erith Town with his father and having masterminded this match he will run the Vickers vets side from the dug-out.

Former Maidstone manager, Foley, died of a brain tumour one month earlier aged just 48.

Entrance is £5 including programme with under 16s allowed in free. The proceeds will be split between Sarcoma UK and The Brain Tumour Charity.
