Bromley travel up to Prenton Park on Saturday to face Tranmere Rovers in the National League having won six league games in a row, rising up to fourth place in the process and impressing with their free scoring displays.

Lee Minshull, Bradley Goldberg, Sean Francis, Reece Prestedge and Pierre Joseph-Dubois were all given a run out by Mark Goldberg on Tuesday at Dover in the 2-0 Kent Senior Cup success, but Alan Julian, Alex Wall and Ben May are all still injury doubts.

In their first season down in non-league football Tranmere took a while to acclimatise, but are on a good run for form now, having won 1-0 at Cheltenham Town last time out and sit in sixth place.

Attendances at Prenton Park have remained very respectable and with a number of Bromley fans making the trip there should be another good turnout for this match.

Most Bromley fans are pinching themselves that this fixture is a league game and not a cup draw given Rovers illustrious past and where The Ravens have risen from. This was one of the first games fans looked for when the fixtures were released in July and plans for travel were made very quickly.

Some perspective for Bromley fans on how far they have come and what hard times Rovers have endured recently is that when Tranmere were in The Championship and playing in the League Cup Final against Leicester City, Bromley were bottom of Ryman League Division One, seven divisions lower than their hosts on Saturday.

Any kind of result for The Ravens on Saturday would be very special for the longer term fans given the opposition and surroundings.
