As the weekend rolled into qualifying Mike Conway and Kamui Kobayashi were nominated for the session in the #7 TS050 HYBRID and took pole position with a 1min 54.583secs average of their fastest laps during a qualifying session which was delayed by 45 minutes due to two red flag periods.

Mike Conway picked up his second podium finish of the 2018 season as he and the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-V.R showcased their strength in Saturday’s Twelve Hours of Sebring as the team brought home another IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship podium result to record Mike’s second consecutive podium result at Sebring International Raceway.
