Greenwich Borough kept up the fight for winning the League with a hard fought victory over Lordswood but it came at a price as after 15 minutes Jesse Darko was stretched off in an ambulance with a suspected broken leg, the irony of this was he was making his first appearance after breaking his leg.

Paul Piggott returned to Martyn Grove for the first time as Holland and Blair boss and saw his new charges comfortably maintain their lead at the Southern Counties East Football League leaders won the Medway Boxing Day Derby with quite a lot to spare.
