Cray’s Under 21’s finished an impressive season with a hard fought Play Off Final win over Herne Bay at Sevenoaks Town on Saturday in a thoroughly entertaining match between the runners up of the Western Division and winners of the Eastern who had both won two legged semi finals to be here.
Cray Wanderers meet Herne Bay in the NRG Kent County League Under 21 League Play Off Final on Saturday.
They will go head to head at Sevenoaks Town FC to decide the ultimate winners of the competition.
Herne Bay won the Eastern Division, while The Wands finished second behind Greenwich Borough in the West.
Bay despatched Borough 5-4 on aggregate in the play off semi final while Cray managed to overcome Tankerton 5-2 on aggregate to set up what will be a very competitive tight final between two strong sides who have had good seasons.
It’s a 3pm kick off with entrance costing only £4 for adults and concessions £2.
Sam Hasler’s red card for his challenge on Jake MacKenzie reduced Herne Bay to 10 men on 19 minutes and reduced this Bank Holiday fixture’s ability to provide the bumper crowd with the entertainment they deserved.
