It has been a complicated summer for Ebbsfleet United. The financial restructure at the club has forced a huge turnover in playing personnel and, following two impressive seasons in the National League following their 2017 promotion, this season will offer the biggest test the club has faced for a while.
Had the Fleet approached the first 80 minutes as they did the last 10, this result might have been very different – but unfortunately the first 80 minutes made for very difficult viewing.
