Swaine makes Bromley departure

Bromley have announced the departure of popular centre back Rob Swaine.

Fans favourite Swaine joined the club three and a half years ago captaining the promotion winning side of 2014/15 and has been a key part of the team during one of the club’s most successful eras.

After handing in a transfer request the club agreed to terminate his contract, leaving him free to take on a new challenge.

This follows the departure of midfielder Reece Prestedge to Maidstone United and Assistant Manager Steve Lovell to Gillingham towards the end of last week.

Sadly Swaine’s last game for the club was the 5-1 home defeat by Forest Green Rovers on Saturday where he was sent off ten minutes from time for a second yellow card.

The Ravens next game is a Kent derby against Welling United at Hayes Lane on Saturday in the 2ndRound of the FA Trophy.
