Snodland are a club on the rise

Snodland Town are a club on the rise as from 2012 four major football clubs amalgamated and became one.

They started by getting the ground lease from the local council and with volunteers got the ground up to a good standard.

In 2016 they erected a 50 seater grandstand which helped in their quest for promotion. In September 2016 floodlights were erected and to mark the occasion Maidstone United came and 400 people were in attendance.

In the 2016/17 season they were accepted into the Southern Counties East Football League, then in September they entered the FA Vase for the first time and played Horsham YMCA at home but lost 3 nil.

The following month the grandstand was extended to 100 seats. In July 2019 the clubhouse was built incorporating new changing rooms and a Hospitality Suite. The clubhouse was officially opened by Tracey Crouch MP, outside seating was added and they opened their doors for their members just in time for England’s journey to the Euro’s Final.

In the summer of 2022 they added an outside bar and cover to the club’s hospitality offering.

Further work has been done with a new entrance sign, paybox and new dugouts and the story continues as they have plans already drawn up to extend the stand to provide 200 seats, new spectator toilets, medical amd first aid room and match day hospitality.
