Defender Andy Smith has signed for Gillingham on loan until the end of the season on deadline day.

The 23-year old has joined the club from Hull City where he came through the youth system.
He has experience playing in League Two having played for Salford City and then Grimsby as well as Cheltenham Town last season.
Speaking about making the move, Smith said: “I am delighted, once I knew there was interest it was something I wanted to be a part of. I am here to work hard and play as many games as I can.
“I like to be aggressive, on the front foot, and I’ll do everything for the boys around me and for the club.”
