Nick Davies is still looking for his first win since he came back but his team came back & deserved this draw & a victory will come sooner rather than later.

The game was slow to get going & the first half chance came in the 10^th minute when Tom Brunt collected a clearance ran forward & saw his shot go past the post from 25 yards.

Casuals went in front when in the 22^nd minute Jordan Vidal on the left saw his cross into the area hit a hand of a Sittingbourne defender & the referee gave a penalty which did seem a little harsh but Jamie Byatt did not care as he hit it straight down the middle.

Two minutes later Byatt went down the right & his cross was hooked away for a corner with Carl Wilson-Dennis waiting to pounce.

In the 26^th minute Sittingbourne should have equalised when Brunt on the right crossed into the area for Joe Nwoko who from 6 yards out on his headed wide of the goal.

Another chance came in the 31^st minute when Matt Harden retrieving a clearance from a corner crossed into the area for Olelakun Bankole but he headed wide.

The second half saw both side huff & puff for 20 minutes as they both gave the ball away & did not force either keeper to make a save.

In the 65^th minute a long free kick was flicked on for Vidal who from 20 yards saw his shot saved by Adam Molloy. Four minutes later Ehis Izokun saw his free kick from 25 yards go over the bar.

In the 71^st minute Casuals nearly extended their lead when a corner into the area was headed goal wards by Joe Hicks only to see Hicham Akhazzan clear it off the line & then in the very next minute Bourne equalised when a free kick was flicked on for Akhazzan who from 10 yards shot home beating Danny Bracken at the near post.

Four minutes later another chance fell to Bourne as Akhazzan’s free kick into the area was met by Jono Richardson but he headed over the bar.

In the 82^nd minute it could have been curtains for Bourne as Vidal on the left got to the by-line & his low cross fizzed across the area forcing Richardson to hook it away for a corner.

In the last 4 minutes of the game Bourne had 3 chances to win the game when firstly in the 86^th minute Bankole 30 yards out ran forward before shooting just wide of the post then a minute later Akhazzan’s free kick into the area found Richardson but again he headed over the bar & the last chance of the game came in the 89^th minute when Akhazzan’s free kick went wide of the post.

The final whistle went & a draw was probably the right result.
