Football under the floodlights takes place at Greatness Park this evening when Sevenoaks Town host Gillingham in the Kent Senior Cup.

Currently in nineteenth spot in the Isthmian League South East Division, the Oaks priority is league points, however, they may be looking at the match against the Gills as a helpful distraction.
In the first round, Sevenoaks travelled to Faversham Town and won two-one. Aaron Jenkins and Joshua Wisson gave the visitors a two goal leak at the break. Although Faversham pulled one back on the hour mark, the Oaks had done enough to qualify for the second round.
Having had a bye in the first round, Gillingham have not played in the tournament since October 2024 when they were defeated at the same stage, three-one at Ebbsfleet United.
On that occasion, they put out a young side it is expected that they will do likewise in this term’s campaign.
