KSN are proud to support:

Sevenoaks Town 1-2 Sittingbourne
Sevenoaks Town 1-2 Sittingbourne

Injuries to Tommie Fagg, and Adam Woolcott coming into the game means that Chris Lynch had Development players Will Hadler, Sam Stance and Liam Middleton on the bench joined by Harry Taylor and Johan Caney-Bryan who is now getting back to fitness.

Sevenoaks had ex Brickies Ben Gorham, Patrick Lee, Bradley Schafer and Dan Parkinson in their line-up.

In this entertaining end to end game Lee was instrumental in setting up the opening goal after just 4 minutes for Sevenoaks after his long clearance up-field was gathered by Lewis Collins who fired past Jordan Perrin in the Brickies goal. The lead lasted 18 minutes before Kane Phillip equalised for the Brickies after Lee had failed to hold the ball and Phillip pounced to slot the ball home.

Sid Sollis put the Brickies ahead 12 minutes into the second half  when he beat players on the left before cutting inside and some 25 yards out  let fly with a terrific shot that beat Lee all ends up. This was a sublimely brilliant goal that will rank amongst Sittingbourne’s goals of the season. Sollis was booked for his over exuberant goal celebration.  In recent games the Brickies had succumbed to late goals so it was a nervy end to the game but it was the Brickies in the shape of Kane Phillip who went close to scoring again but Lee won the 1 on 1 battle.

This defeat for Sevenoaks Town was their first home defeat of the season.
