Sixteen-year-old Leo Selvey-Clinton, of Ightham, has captained the Kent Under-18s to finals day of the National T20 competition and arrives there as the tournament’s top run scorer.

The Tonbridge School pupil, who has represented Kent since he was nine and turns out for club side Bexley, already has senior pedigree too, having struck 47 on his Kent 2nd XI debut against a strong Nottinghamshire side earlier this year.
He won’t be travelling to Loughborough University on 19th July alone in terms of national standouts – Kent’s attack boasts the competition’s three leading wicket takers, Stan Moore, Louis James and Oli Butterfill, all products of the Kent league and Kent Pathway.
Kent secured their Finals Day spot by beating old rivals, Surrey, twice in a winner takes all and must win day of cricket at the county ground in Beckenham earlier this month.
Kent meet Yorkshire U18s in the semi-final, with the winners progressing to face Warwickshire for the title.
