Seabright full of confidence
Seabright full of confidence

Fenton Seabright is full of confidence going into his home round at Brands Hatch this weekend.

He took two wins out of three last time out at Knockhill in the Pirelli Sportbike National Championship in what was torrential rain for most of the weekend.

Over the three day event Seabright fought hard creating opportunities from the second row of the grid, battling it out with Asher Durham, Harrison Dessoy and Kas Beekmans.

He now moves into second in the championship as we come to the mid way point in the 2025 championship, only 44 points behind Kas Beekmans. The fight is now on to take Beekmans off the top step as Seabright and the championship move to his home round at Brands Hatch.

Pete Marsh, Team Manager said: “For a small independent family team who don’t have expert experience in running a full factory team, we have done extremely well to pull together an outfit that is currently challenging for the championship and podium positions. We pulled together at the weekend to provide a package which Fenton could really show off his talents as a young rider in this championship. Long may it continue as we move on to the teams home round at Brands Hatch in Kent.”

Seabright was absolutely delighted when he spoke after the weekend, he said: “We knew coming to Knockhill we need to be full throttle and we also knew that the main thing in Scotland is to work with the elements as one minute it can be glorious sunshine the next it is pouring with rain.

“Once you come to terms with that then it’s not a bad little circuit to ride. I just went out there quite aggressively and it paid off, making some strong overtakes  and really just see an opportunity to over take and taking it. I was gutted not to do the triple but that is just how it goes sometimes and the bike just slide out from under me.

“Myself and the team now look forward to Brands Hatch and seeing if we can chip away at the championship and see how we go there. A massive thank you to all my sponsors who have supported me no matter what since day one.”
