League Leaders SE Dons hit Chessington and Hook United for seven at a somewhat sunny Bauvil Stadium.

The hosts SE Dons knew a win was a must to keep them top of the table with AFC Greenwich Borough form improving and with 2 games in hand the title race is getting interesting. 

The game started with a few half chances for the hosts, new signing Femi Akinwande had a few near chances shooting wide and over the bar. 

Chessington &Hook had a real big chance of the game by testing Dons ‘keeper George  Kamurasi from distance and it smacked off the crossbar.

SE Dons took the lead through Billy Crook after 35 minutes, Chessington defence had done well to keep the dons out but the breakthrough was coming. Just before the referee blew for Half time cones grabbed a second through Joedon Cugas-Cowin.

The second half started as the first half ended Dons grabbing a third through Femi Akinwande. A few minutes later Andre Coker grabbed dons their fourth. The chances for dons to add to their tally kept coming for the Chessington defence.

It wasn’t until the 80th minute the league leaders grabbed their fifth of the afternoon through forward Zak Ansah poking home from close range.

With the attempts on goal tally increasing for the dons they added their sixth of the afternoon through Joshua Bohui with five minutes to go from close range. The visitors picked up a bit of steam with a couple of half chances of their own.

Unfortunately for the struggling visitors Dons added a seventh through Alex Teniola in injury time, the game restarted and the referee blew for the full time whistle.
