SCEFL AGM overshadowed

The Southern Counties East Football League AGM was held at the weekend, but the meeting was overshadowed by news of a serious accident suffered by League President, Ray Brown.

The purpose of the meeting was to confirm the Leagues constitution being adopted for the new season as well as the election of those tasked with running the League for the forthcoming season.

Of those elected was the ever popular and well-respected League President.  Sadly Ray was unable to attend the meeting after he was involved in a serious road traffic accident last week.

The meeting was told that on Thursday, Mr Brown was involved in a collision that resulted in the need for him to be taken to Kings College Hospital by Air Ambulance from the scene in Dover.  He has suffered multiple injuries and broken bones and will spend a time in hospital as he recovers from this devastating incident.

Ray is one of the most respected figures in the world of Kent football and this incident obviously will cast a shadow over the SCEFL summer.  KSN would like to join the Kent football family in wishing Ray a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing him in the stands again soon!

For the record the constitution of the League for the forthcoming season was confirmed as follows;
