As we move towards 2026, we have been asking our reporters for their highlights and indeed low lights of 2025. First up is Colin Head.

Best game attended 2025 – Cray Wanderers 4 Dulwich Hamlet 2 – A great performance from The Wands against famous old opposition, lots of good attacking football and goals. Also, a mention for Holmesdale 3 Hollands & Blair 4 which was a great game of end to end football, with the winner not decided until the very last minute.
Best moment (either attended or on TV) 2025 – Bromley taking the lead away at Newcastle United in the FA Cup, courtesy of Cameron Congreve’s early goal. 3,000 Bromley fans going crazy in the away end, just for a little while we had The Magpies rattled. Also, a mention for knocking Ipswich Town out of the League Cup and Troy Parrot’s injury time winner for Ireland in Hungary – keeping hope alive.
Funniest moment (either attended or on TV) 2025 – Bromley beating Doncatser Rovers 1-0 at home, having had one shot on target compared to their 31!
Worst moment witnessed at a game in 2025 – Bromley going out of the FA Cup in the First Round against Bristol Rovers in November in their worst performance of the year.
Best player seen in the flesh in 2025 – In Kent, Reece Butler at Chatham Town – quality centre back and striker Soul Kader in his loan spell at Cray Wanderers. In all the games I’ve seen, Luke Molyneaux at Doncaster Rovers and Anthony Gordon at Newcastle.
Hope for Kent football 2026 (Hope for your team 2026) – For all the clubs to be stable happy futures and do the best they can. For Bromley to make the League Two Play Offs.
How far will England go in the World Cup – Lose in the Quarter Finals on Penalties.
