Ray looking for points finish

Brad Ray is back on track this weekend as he heads to the “Cathedral of Speed” for the latest round of the World Superbike Championship.

It has been almost a month since the rider from Lydd was on track in Barcelona, and he and his Yamaha MotoxRacing team will be looking to score points at the TT Circuit in Assen in Holland.

Ray will be using the practice sessions to fine tune the set-up of the Yamaha YZF R1 ahead of the races on Saturday and Sunday.

So far this season Ray has netted just one points scoring finish in the opening round at Phillip Island, and he will be looking to challenge for the top 15 and solid points finishes over the weekend.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Ray said: “It’s been almost a month since the last races in Catalunya and I’m excited to get back to the historic Assen track.

“The weather forecast isn’t great, but that won’t stop us working on our bike to find the best setup at what is a technical and very challenging track. I want to score the strongest possible results, for me, for the team and for our sponsors.”
