Ray keen to keep podium momentum going

Bradley Ray is back on track in the British Superbike Championship this weekend, and he will be keen to keep the momentum going from Oulton Park.

Last time out the McAMS rider took a win, a second and a third place and he would like to keep that podium momentum as they head to Thruxton this weekend.

Thruxton is a circuit that has favoured the Yamaha R1 for the last four years, and Ray has high hopes for the weekends racing.

Still sitting third in the championship standings with three more races awaiting him and the team this weekend, the 29-year-old is targeting further momentum and a healthy points haul across this weekend’s trio of races.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Ray said: “I’m really looking forward to getting back to work with the boys at McAMS Yamaha this weekend.

“Thruxton has been a strong circuit for me and the Yamaha R1 in the past, so we’re heading into the weekend with confidence in our ability to fight at the front.

“Oulton Park last time out was a positive one, and I believe we’re capable of fighting for those sort of results every weekend. We’ll hit the ground running on Friday and aim to make some strides forward ahead of the weekend’s qualifying and races.

“We’ll give it 110% no matter what happens, and hopefully we can take away some podiums for our efforts.”
