Ray joins TAS Racing for 2020

Kent’s Bradley Ray has been announced this morning as joining TAS Racing in the British Superbike Championship for the 2020 season.

Ray will be joined by Taylor Mackenzie in running the BMW S1000R machinery in the Official BMW Motorrad supported team.

The 22-year-old Ray has been racing in the Superbike series for the last couple of years, taking his first wins in the class in 2018 and in doing so finished sixth in the championship.

There is no doubt that he is a talented rider and will be hoping to challenge for race wins again in 2020.

Speaking about the move to TAS Racing, Ray said: “I’m very excited to join TAS Racing next season on the new BMW. I have to say a big thank you to Hector and Philip Neil for giving me this opportunity and I’m very excited to start a new chapter in my career.

“The bike has shown very good potential in the first year of development so I’m excited to start 2020 with some more upgrades to the bike. It will be good for me to ride a different manufacturer of bike as I’ve been on Suzuki for the past three years, so it will be all new for me.”
