Ray hoping to get back on the top step of the podium

Bradley Ray is back on track this weekend as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship heads to Cadwell Park for a bank holiday bonanza.

Ray who is the current championship leader, with a 26 point lead, will be looking to get back on the top of the podium, having returned to form on the Sunday at Thruxton, having had a nightmare on Friday and Saturday.

Cadwell Park will be a chance for the Raceways Yamaha rider to try and extend the lead over Kyle Ryde, and get back on a winning run that saw him win nine races at the start of the season.

Speaking ahead of the weekend the rider from Lydd, said: “I’m really looking forward to getting back to Cadwell Park this weekend. It’s a circuit that I’ve missed a lot since being away in World Superbikes, there really isn’t another place like it! I haven’t been back there since 2022 so it will be nice to be back.

“Thruxton Sunday was really positive for us and we made a good step with the bike that’s going to help us in the coming rounds. The track has been kind to me over the years, I’ve found a good feeling there in the past and as we return, I believe that we have everything at our disposal to be able to fight for wins and extend our gap at the top of the standings.”
