Pritchard linked with Premier League move

There are stories circulating that Premier League clubs Aston Villa, Fulham and Reading are interested in signing Charlton midfielder, Bradley Pritchard, during the January transfer window.

It seems an unlikely move, the likeable Zimbabwean has made massive strides to establish himself in the Championship but the Premier League looks a step too far for him.

Other Charlton players who could attract attention from higher status clubs during the window are Ben Hamer, Chris Solly and Dale Stephens.

Bradley Wright-Phillips, Scott Wagstaff, Danny Hollands, Danny Green and Matt Taylor are players who could possibly move in January.

Chris Powell lost Lawrie Wilson and Leon Cort to injury at Watford and Rob Hulse, Manny Frimpong and Dan Seaborne have returned to Queens Park Rangers, Arsenal and Southampton respectively, so the manager has a depleted squad at the moment.

Fans may have to wait a while for new arrivals though.

Most of the morning papers credited Yann Kermorgant with the third goal at Vicarage Road but it was in fact an own goal by Marco Cassetti. The club will officially record it as an own goal.
