Tom Ward got his 2026 season off to an excellent start with a podium finish at the iconic Le Mans Race Circuit.

Le Mans was the venue for the opening round FIM Endurance World Championship, kicking off with the 24 hours Le Mans. With Ward and his TRT27 team finishing in an impressive third place.
Speaking about the race weekend, Ward said: “What an amazing way to start the 2026 season with a third place at the 24 hour Le Mans FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC).
“Everyone has been working really hard behind the scenes over the winter. Eric, Sebastian, Julian, Yann and all of the TRT27 AZ moto team have made a huge step to the team to give us guys the best opportunity to do well!

“There have been ups and downs but we have all stuck together and I really feel the team needed and deserve this result. My teammates rode an amazing race, we had some small mistakes but the mechanics did amazing jobs to rectify them quickly and get us back out on track!
“We are in a great position now leaving round one of the World Championship in third place and we know we have more room for improvement going into Spa in June, which is really positive.
“A massive thank you to my family and friends for the support. Along with all of the partners of the team.”
