Simon Rudd was back on the podium at his home round of the Fun Cup at Brands Hatch last weekend.

It was a superb second place finish for Rudd and his teammates, given they were a lap down halfway through the race!

Team GRD with Rudd, Riley Phillips and Chris Dovell started at the back of the grid as championship leaders, and by finishing in second extend their lead in the series.

There were several safety cars, which hindered the teams progress but the trio worked their way through the field.

Making their way into the top six before then setting their sights on taking the top three.

Taking the positions as the race moved into its closing stages, and ensuring the team move on to the next round at Silverstone in mid September still looking to build on their run of four wins in now the last seven races.
