Kent’s Mike Conway and the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3 finished in third place at the 2023 Rolex 24 at Daytona in the GTD Pro class alongside teammates Ben Barnicoat and Jack Hawksworth – with Mike recording a podium finish on his debut in GT3 machinery.

Joining Lexus factory drivers Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Mike and the team started the race from third place in the GTD Pro class.

Battling for race victory throughout the 24 hours of racing, Mike and the team led the race for 76 laps and held the lead heading into the final few hours of the race. In a tense battle between three cars for GTD Pro victory, Mike and the #14 Lexus RC F GT3 eventually crossed the finishing line after 24 hours of racing in third place.

The result sees Mike record a GTD Pro podium on his debut in the class and his second trip to the Daytona podium – having finished in second place overall in 2018.

Speaking after yet another successful weekend, Mike Conway said:

“P3 at the Rolex 24 at Daytona! It was a tense finish with the Mercedes and Corvette for the victory but unfortunately, we didn’t have the speed to keep them behind.”

“A huge thank you to all of the team at Lexus Racing USA and Vasser Sullivan; and of course my teammates Ben and Jack – everyone did such a fantastic job these last two weeks and I’m proud to have been a part of it!”
