“It was unbelievable entertainment – I thought we were first class, I really did.”

“We came with a good game plan and we worked hard all week. I am disappointed with the goals but it was a fully deserved result today.”

“I enjoyed everything about it. As soon as we kicked off we played some decent football and carved them open a few times.”

“They are a very good side who will be up there at the end of the season and they have a passionate crowd. It’s a fantastic place to play football with some very good players.”

“We have come here and started very well. We got the ball in good areas and played some good football. We thoroughly deserved the opening goal, but switched off 30 seconds later for their first.”

Pennock has seen his side slowly adapt to his style of playing, operating with wingers and the Head Coach is pleased with how the players and showing signs of improvement:

“I have been pleased with the last three games, because they are what we are all about. I don’t think we are too far away from that first win.”

“There is a lot of belief here. The togetherness is fantastic; not just the starting XI but the whole squad.”

“They wore the shirt with pride today. I’m sure the fans are as proud of them as I am.”
