Head Coach Kevin Parrish wants his Invicta Dynamos side to bounce back when Wightlink Raiders come to Gillingham on Sunday night.

Last week proved to be what could well be one of the toughest of the season as the Dynamos faced three games inside the space of four days.

After narrowly being beaten 4-2 by the Chelmsford Chieftains in the South East Trophy on Thursday night, the Dynamos bounced back in style on Saturday evening, come from behind three times to win 4-3 away to the Streatham Redskins in the league.

However, that victory was swiftly forgotten as they were comfortably thrashed 11-0 by the Chieftains in the NIHL Southern Cup on Sunday night, failing to find their form over in Essex.

This weekend will be a much quieter affair for the Dynamos as they face just the one game with the Wightlink Raiders coming to Silver Blades on Sunday evening and Parrish is hoping his side can bounce back in style, but will go into the game missing one of his more experienced players:

“We need to see a reaction from last Sunday’s result, the reaction needed is the positive way we started this season.”

“Adam McNicoll is out for seven weeks with ligament damage to hie knee.”

With McNicoll set to be out for so long, Parrish will no doubt be tempted to add to his roster in the coming weeks.

Face off on Sunday is 5:15pm with a bumper crowd expected for a repeat of the NIHL Southern Cup Final clash from last season.
