Tristan Ovenden heads across the English Channel this weekend to France for the latest round of the UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy heads to the Legendary Loheac Rallycross circuit in Brittany.

A star-studded entry list of over 30 Supercars promising possibly the best and biggest Rallycross race meeting you’ll see this year on the planet!

The Goody Demolition backed driver is no stranger to racing in France. In fact, he raced at Dreux in 2022 and 2023 when the British Championship joined up with the French Championship form their season finale.

The Witham supported driver is under no illusions as to the enormity of the task ahead. Knowing he will have to be at the top of his game and the car will need to perform flawlessly over the weekend just to keep him in the running against a field that has over 10 drivers that are current or past WRX drivers!

The Loheac Circuit itself is a twisty, flowing fast one which should suit Ovenden’s driving style well. The French refer to it as ‘le temple du Rallycross’ or the Temple of rallycross

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Ovenden said: “Going to Loheac is going to be a season highlight. The quality and sheer size of the field is truly breath taking along with the expected 20,000 plus crowd will make it an event to remember.

“We have done some work on the car since the last outing. Thanks to the team and sponsors for their continued support in making this happen. Hopefully we can give them and our fans a decent showing.”
