One in four out at Bromley

Bromley FC have been busy this week having made their first signing of the summer, and also releasing four players as manager Neil Smith looks to start shape his squad for the 2018/19 season.

Bobby-Joe Taylor a 23-year-old winger has become the first new addition to the squad joining from Aldershot Town, for a young player he has a lot of experience.

He came through the ranks at Chelsea and Gillingham, he has played in the football league for Cambridge United, he has also played for Maidstone United and from there went to Aldershot.

Smith was clearly delighted to get his man, speaking to the Bromley site, he said: “I’m delighted to be signing Bobby-Joe. He’s a player who excites me every time I see him play. He is quick and direct, and I believe he’ll cause teams problems. He has played at England C level too (below), and after expressing an interest in him last season, I’m pleased to finally get him on board. He’s hungry to play for us and I look forward to seeing him in a Bromley shirt.”

The club have also announced that Jack Holland, Jordan Higgs and David Gregory have all put pen to paper on deals to remain at the H2T Group Stadium for another year.

Leaving the club this summer though are Tyrone Sterling, Kristian Campbell, Iffy Allen, Ben Wynter and as previously announced Louis Dennis has made the move to League One side Portsmouth.
