Dartford’s dream of a trip to Wembley this season were ended at Princes Park on Saturday with a goalless draw against Grimsby Town.Non League

Tony Burman’s side went into the second leg trailing 3-0 and despite giving it all they had got, it wasn’t to be and now they will concentrate on finishing as high as possible in the Blue Square Bet Premier league.

Meanwhile, Tunbridge Wells progressed through to the next round of the FA Vase with a 4-3 victory at Larkhall after extra time despite ending the game with ten men.

Goals from Josh Stanford and Andy McMath gave Tunbridge Wells a 2-1 half time lead, but the game was taken into extra time with Andy Irvine scoring the all important third goal for the visitors after they trailed 3-2.

Having been reduced to ten men, Jack Harris was the hero for Tunbridge Wells as he scored the 120th minute winner to book their place in the FA Vase Quarter Finals at home to Hadleigh United on Saturday 2nd March.

Welling United surrendered top spot in the Blue Square Bet South league with a 2-0 loss at Weston-Super-Mare, whilst Dover Athletic earnt a valuable point at Boreham Wood with Steven Thomson scoring for Whites in the 1-1 draw that keeps them third in the league.

Bromley did their survival hopes no harm at all with a 3-2 victory at Braintree Town. Ali Fuseini, Pierre Joseph-Dubois and Louis Theophanous with a last minute penalty secured all three points for Mark Goldberg’s side.

Meanwhile, Tonbridge Angels were beaten 2-0 at home by Dorchester Town.
