With all the sad and disappointing news around at the moment, we’re pleased to report that we have received some good news in the KSN office.

Earlier in the week, we reported that the Vice Chairman on the Southern Counties Eastern Football League, John Moules, was in the Darenth Valley Hospital suffering from Coronavirus.

On Saturday afternoon we heard the great news that John had been released.

He posted on Twitter “to all my family and football friends, just to let you know I am home from hospital where I received care and treatment from the fantastic NHS staff.”

“I have a few more hurdles to cross but am so grateful to everyone for your kind messages, they meant a great deal, thank you.”

When KSN contacted John, he said, “the front-line NHS Staff at Darenth were fantastic in their treatment and care for me.”

“I am on the mend with a few hurdles to cross but going in the right direction.”

“The football family messages I received when really down were so heart-warming, John.”
