Gillingham midfielder Billy Knott has joined National League leaders Lincoln City on loan until May.

The 24 year old, whose only goal for The Gills this season was the winner in September’s 2-1 victory over Coventry City, will be available to play for The Imps up to and including the National League play-offs if required.

Knott was The Gills second summer signing ahead of the 2016/17 campaign and he has made 23 appearances for the club, but has found chances harder to come by in recent weeks.
